Naps and Swimming....
We swam for the first time this year on Friday. Audrey loved it and wants to be big just like the other kids. She loved getting in and out of the pool on the steps. Ellis wasn't so sure about the pool yet. She didn't like being able to touch the bottom. She obviously doesn't remember last year when you couldn't stop her from jumping off the side! She will warm up soon enough I'm sure!

Naps...well, lately around here naps have been somewhat chaotic. Ellis is fighting naps all the time now. I know she is tired, but she doesn't want to actually go to sleep. Yesterday she cried for an hour before finally falling asleep and sleeping for three hours! Today after church she almost passed out at lunch, then fell asleep on the way home only to miraculously pop up and be perfectly rested when we put her in her bed when we got home. Anyhow, I am sure this is just a phase and will soon pass. For now, enjoy the funny pics of our sweet girls and their naps...

Audrey just couldn't stay awake to eat her pb & j sandwich!

Here is Ellis' crib deconstructed as she threw a 'small' fit to go to sleep. Notice the trash can?? Yep, she turned it over trying to hoist it into her crib...

Here is how she finally fell asleep and slept like a log for 3 hours!

ICE CREAM & GOATS...

We were in Fredericksburg last weekend visiting Lane's Nana. The girls ate lots of ice cream and got to see goats up close for the first time. Nana's next door neighbor has three baby goats in her back yard and the girls thought that they were fun. However, I bet if you asked them what their favorite part of the weekend was it would most definitely be ice cream! Not that we don't have ice cream at home, we just don't eat it everyday!

Random pic of Ellis wearing my shoes around the house..she liked how they sounded on the tile. She was so proud of herself..she thinks she is so big!

You think that she liked it??

Asking for more..and more...and more!

Introduction to the goats. They tore off leaves and let them eat it out of their hands. Too cute!

Some serious ice cream eatin'!

Self explanatory!
