Catching up...

I have grossly neglected the blog, but here is a short update (while I try to do this at lightning speed!)!!
Our family is now complete!  Pearce is here and doing well.  His sisters LOVE him & we do too!
Our 'snuggle' babies all together...perfect!

Pearce is so cute...
that we can...
hardly stand it!!
I can't believe that we have three kids, and although it is definitely crazy sometimes, we love it!

More later....

Future ballerinas...

Ellis & Abbey got to go to dance with our friend Sophia today to try out her ballet class for 'bring a friend' to dance week.  They looked so cute!  Abbey wanted me to take pics of them doing their dances as we were leaving.  Ellis was a bit unsure, but the girls were too cute, so I had to share!
Check out Abbey's dance moves!  We will see how they like it once classes start back up in the fall...

Lately...

Sorry it has been sooo long since I updated!  Here is a snapshot of what we have been up to lately.  We have had a busy spring and are loving the weather, minus the wind!!  Audrey does not like the wind!  I really think she is afraid of it!  The girls love to play dress up, well really Ellis likes to be the boss and dress up Audrey.  She then wants me to take pictures!  Too cute!

Here is one of Ellis' creations
...and another!

This girl loves sunglasses!
Ellis & Audrey got a new baby cousin!  They were so excited.
Meeting Lacy
Ellis wasn't too sure.
At Audrey's school they release ladybugs every year during 'Celebration of the Child' week.  The ladybugs are kept cool, so they take a while to 'warm' up and start flying.  The ladybugs are opened on the ground and the kids can play with them.  It is so much fun!  Some of the kids end up being covered in them!

Ellis loved them!
Audrey...not so much!

We also took a short trip to Austin to see their cousin Colette.  The girls had so much fun playing together!
Colette doesn't look like she is having fun, but I assure you they laughed like silly girls!

On our way home from Austin, we stopped in Fredericksburg at the Wildseed Farm.  The flowers were beautiful, but it was a bit cold with the wind!

We have had a fun spring so far with more excitement to come...I will try to keep more updated!

ADVENT

So, we went to our church's advent fair for kids tonight...the girls had a blast!  They ate (mostly candy and cookies), played, and made fun crafts.  The highlight was decorating a gingerbread house.  We set a house in front of each of them and gave them some 'decorations' (aka candy).  I was showing Ellis how to decorate her roof when she adamantly told me "i not like that candy on my house!!"  She then proceeded to eat every bit of candy on her plate as fast as she could!  It was like she had never had candy before!  After the house decorating they both ran around on a sugar high!!  They then listened to a story and got a chance to visit Santa.  Ellis was very excited to see Santa...Audrey on the other hand was not!  She was happy to take a sucker from him, but that's about it!

Audrey coloring...well, trying to grab ALL of the crayons because she 'needed' them!

Ellis making a nativity with stickers...her favorite!

And now begins the decorating!

This was the beginning...and the most candy that stayed on Ellis' house even for a second!

check out Ellis' cheeks...she is picking everything off of the house and eating it at warp speed!

Audrey is so proud!

Then comes this...I think Audrey is confused!

hmmm...there is a 'hole in my house' mommy!

Ellis & Abbey with Santa

We had so much fun watching the girls play and create with Jesus' birth in mind!
Stay tuned...

A Day in the Life...

...of a mommy with two toddlers!!  Here is just a sampling of the fabulous mess that Audrey managed to make in less than 3 minutes in the car on our way home from Roswell today!  That even includes time for her to figure out how to screw the lid off the container!  For those of you wondering what the strange black soot-like powder is...it is a vitamin that Lane's uncle (he's a chiropractor) gave us.  It was EVERYWHERE!  I didn't get a pic of Audee's pants...let's just say they aren't green anymore!  Mommy spent a good two hours getting everything (at least I think) wiped clean of the I-never-want-to-see-you-again vitamin.  Imagine me out in the driveway trying to figure out how to disassemble the carseat...those things are entirely too frustrating!  Amusing to others, I'm sure.  I seriously wanted to throw it away!!  Sooo, enjoy a good laugh at our expense!!

All the excitement wore her out!!  Doesn't look so bad, huh?!?!  You should have seen her clothes and the car!

This is what she looked like post-throwing clothes in a target bag...a much milder mess than pre-strip down!

Don't you want to clean those straps?!?!  Looks fun!

It's Snowing!!!...in the desert!!!

We can't believe that it snowed last night and we woke up to a white winter wonderland!!  ..at least for a few hours before the sun came out and melted most of the snow!  We went to Abbey's house for a big waffle breakfast and some fun in the snow!

This was as long as they stopped for me to get a pic!

Audrey liked it for a while, but had a hard time walking without falling down...poor baby, her legs just aren't quite long enough!

Ellis is exclaiming how much she likes to eat snow!

We went to Austin to visit Aunt Dara, Greg, and Colette at the beginning of Thanksgiving week.  Then we went to San Antonio for the annual 'Owen' family Thanksgiving gathering.  The girls had sooo much fun and wore themselves out playing with their cousins.  Ellis kept telling me that she "needed to go to Dara or Shelly's house"!! She emphasized the 'needed!'  Here are a few pics of our Thanksgiving week.

"almost night night time"-a phrase frequently repeated by Ellis
followed by "it's too early go night night!"

 "cheese"

All the 'Owen' great grand kids minus Colette and Blaine...we missed them.  This was about the best pic I got considering we were trying to get 13 kids to look at the cameras and most of them are under 3!!

Ellis found the swing right away and thought it was only for her!!

Audrey complaining about taking a picture!

Ellis' turn to complain!
